Wahab Riaz Post Match Interview In Australia
Pakistan has won its most crucial match today against Ireland and hence now will be facing the Australians in the quarter finals. Wahab today was pick of the bowlers as he took 3 wickets with a very impressive economy rate.Wahab was interviewed after the match we had Mark Nicolas, Wasim Akram and Stephen Flemmingasking Wahab about his today’s performance as well as the match conditions and the team’s future big game.
Mark first asked Wahab about their next big match the quarterfinal against the mighty Australian side that have the likes of Warner and Finch among them. Wahab replied with confidence that it doesn’t matter to us at all whom he are playing with.
Warner and Finch are big names and they are match winners but for us we have nothing to lose so we will just go out there and play our attacking cricket it that’s it. We will attack them.
The next one was from Flemming who asked about the difference between bowling in New Zealand and Australia. Wahab answer was the seam movement as in Australia the ball doesn’t seam that much with respect to the movement it gets in New Zealand.
The wickets are bouncy here more than in New Zealand. The ball just zips in with some serious bounce. Pitches here in Australia are harder than the ones in the New Zealand.
We are in no pressure and so it doesn’t matter at all whom we are playing against in the quarterfinals. Wahab ended the interview and the confidence he showed tell you the inside story of the whole Pakistani team.
